Background
Dr Cohen completed the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East London and the Post Graduate Diploma in CBT for Psychosis at the IOPPN, King’s College London. Before joining the PICuP Clinic Dr Cohen worked within Southwark Community Promoting Recovery services, with people with psychosis and other severe mental health difficulties. She is also the Joint Programme Lead for the Postgraduate Diploma in CBT for Psychosis at the IOPPN, teaching and supervising clinicians undertaking this programme.
Research and Special Clinical Interests
Dr Cohen has particular interests in psychological models of voice hearing, peer support and peer recovery approaches, and in developing services in partnership with service user-led and third sector organisations. She is a member of the Trust’s Strategic Peer Support Steering Group.
